The Princes to Kings (P2K) Program is committed to improving high school graduation outcomes among African American, Latino, and Southeast Asian males ages 12–18 living and attending school in the West End and South End of Providence. Through comprehensive mentorship and wraparound support services, P2K empowers young men to achieve academic success, develop leadership skills, and build lifelong habits that promote health, wellness, and personal growth.

Our mission is to cultivate a strong, supportive brotherhood that guides participants from adolescence into responsible, confident adulthood. We aim to expand access and opportunity by increasing program enrollment from 0 to 50 minority male youths by August 2018, and sustaining engagement with at least 50 participants through August 2020.

P2K delivers structured, culturally responsive programming designed to prepare participants for high school graduation and beyond. By August 2016, we will establish and maintain a minimum of four core program activities focused on academic readiness, social-emotional development, health and wellness, and leadership development, sustaining these efforts through August 2020.

Central to our mission is consistency and relationship-building. We are committed to maintaining a retention rate of at least 85% among both youth participants and adult mentors from June 2016 through June 2020, ensuring stability, trust, and meaningful long-term impact.

Through intentional mentorship, community connection, and holistic support, the Princes to Kings Program strives to transform potential into achievement and empower young men to realize their full potential.
